Easy Place Card & Christmas Tablescape
I told you when I did my Thanksgiving Bounty Tablescape that I did two Christmas options and I am finally going to share them with you… I didn’t want to get in trouble showing you too many Christmas things before Thanksgiving! The table is silver, red and teal. I love how it is not exactly a traditional color scheme but it just says Christmas, and is bright and beautiful! (speaking of Christmas, need a great gift, enter our awesome giveaway to win either an ipad, camera, laptop or kitchen aid!)
One of the fun things we did with this tablescape was an inexpensive easy place card. I wanted to show you.
All it took was a sheet of glitter foam from Walmart. I think it cost $1.99 at the most.
Draw the letter of their first name onto the foam, you can do this anyway you want. My sister helped me with these and she just did it free hand. But if that sounds too hard, use a print out and turn the print backwards and sketch it onto the back (backwards) like I did with this text art tutorial. Then just cut it out.
Bam, easy sparkly place setting in minutes!
On the second tablescape I just used a rose wrapped in with the napkin and tied with a ribbon.
For the table I used the same 6 basic items as before. They worked great for a fall tablescape and again they are working well for Christmas, because they are silver pieces that tend to be timeless!
We used a large white table cloth and 2 long blue runners. as the base for both tables. For the main center piece I used the amazing chocolate cake (I bought this one from Costco…but you must try the amazing chocolate cake recipe I have)
For the second table we kept the center simple (and changed it out a few times). The head of the table was a little dessert buffet It looked cute and was a simple decoration.
I love the simple pine branch that we cut from the yard and stuck on the table. Maybe it is cheesy, but I like it!
Well, that is it. Do you guys have any great easy place card ideas? I wanna see um!
I would be thankful for any shares or pins of this post! THANKS

That whole table looks so incredibly gorgeous! I love that idea – I never would have thought of something like that!
I’m glad you like it! It was really fun to set up!
Beautiful, love this idea! Very classy and elegant.
Thank you!
I think your table is beautiful, even the little twig.
Ha! I think the twig was fun too! It was sort of an after thoughts as we were photographing, but it made me happy to see it!
Loving the blue with the red…it looks great!!
Yay! I loved it too, it really made the space so cheerful and beautiful!
I love this tablescape. I did one for Thanksgiving that I haven’t posted yet (oops!). But it’s my latest obsession. A little can go such a long way with a tablescape when done right! Thanks for sharing!
You are right, I feel like I really need to practice editing, I tend to put everything, and the kitchen sink on the table!
